What would life be after marriage?
G and I are such different people.
This comes as a reckoning everytime we are out hunting for our renovation stuff.
He ALWAYS looks out for the practicality.
I ALWAYS look out for the design and feel.
SO, we almost ALWAYS fight over the choices we make.
Its tiring.
But at the end of the day someone has got to give. Either one of us.
And I really thank God we dont end up hating each other everytime this happens.
Sigh.
So the renovation has begun and is progressing mighty fast. The walls and tiles are all hacked and ready to be re-tiled. We just confirmed our floor tiles for kitchen and toilet with Sean the ID yesterday, so this should all be set next week. Today, we drove down to macpherson to get our basins and toilet bowls from Hoe Kee, at a very good price me thinks.
Still outstanding: Kitchen sink and tap, Hood and Hob, Storage heater, and toilet accessories.
Then we also need to sit down and discuss the detailing with Sean SOON.
Thank God, that in a week i’ll be much more free to do the planning together with Gordon.
I. Just. Cant. Wait. :)

Haha this is when you see how God is really in the middle, taking charge. for we love because He loved us, and we try to love like how He loves us! :)

Haha, I think Gerald and I (mine’s a Mr. G as well!) might face similar problems if/when we do get married… Hohoho.
Also, just a note, if you are thinking of getting an electric hob, think again. It’s very, very high on the electricity bills. :( Own experience here, lol. Go for traditional gas hob. :)

Hey, congrats to you and Gordon on your upcoming wedding!! :) I think it’s one of the happiest and most exciting times of life!
PS. We got our stuff from Hoe Kee too; and yeah, I agree the prices are great!

haha aurie, never tot of getting electric! yes bills and also the food doesnt come out quite as nice. thanks for ur 2cents worth though! :)
